Evergreen does not mean final
An evergreen note stays useful because it is maintained and revisable, not because it has achieved permanent truth.
An evergreen note is clear enough to reuse and connected enough to revisit. It is not a monument to certainty.
A note may move from seed to growing, then become evergreen. New evidence may move it into reconsidering. It may eventually be archived while its history remains available.
The note should reveal its current epistemic posture: supported, contested, speculative, observed, or unresolved. These labels do not score the writer. They communicate how the statement currently relates to evidence and dispute.
